should i be happy that i have a new phone?

i reli don't give a damn about phones..
and i don't give a shit about the phone craze
so i'm like seriously a phone dummy

i have this old "crabshell breaker"
that has been serving its purpose
until its starting to give-up on me..
solution...
get a new one

asked around..
then decide on this motorola slvr or L7
so i got it... no reason whatsoever
a phone is a phone
it just has to serve its purpose...
which is to call and and stay connected

i also realised that if u really sit down and actually do abit of metal sums
u would realise that the handphone operators are making big bucks out of their so called plans....
even if u somehow manage to use all your messages and calls....
they earn hell ALOT !!!!!!!!

so i went for retail price.... hahaha
it bloody cost me $378/-
since i'm the one paying for it
should i say.....
