happy new yr

HAPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

yesterday i went to study...
with keith, hans, germ, jinli, carene, gene...
met up wif the guyz at bishan mrt stn
too preoccupied wif taking pictures of mushrooms
and was late by afew mins

went to thomson plaza's burger king
had a turkey bacon meal....
jinli...thanks for the treat
did abit of studying for thermo and mech
keith was complaining tat he couldn't understand my mind-map
francis was doing his pen spinning tricks
gene came late....we were all toking about him stalking some girl
because he has this prevertic habit of wanting to know a girl better
whahaha

went to fairprice...bought some wax[mud]
we had a bad time at bk... especially for keith
first of all the air-con doesn't seem to be working
the place was humid and stuffy
and we were all feeling hot and sweaty
later keith discovered an insect in his drink
and freaked out...went to the counter
they took his cup and got rid of the evidence

so we will never go back to that bk again
now i know why there isn't that many people in that bk compared to the other outlets

later that day..
we went to eugene's grandma's house in kovan
i know eugene is rich
but now i know that guy is filthy rich
the front of his grandma's house says alot..
the fountain...the car...the pool
the flooring...the ornaments and deco
the maids... the painting
the bar-top....

whatever

as long as i am contented with my life
i don't see a need for all these...
a simple life is all i want....

we went out later of dinner
most of them wanted to eat the carrotcake and oysters with egg and starch
while gene and i ate the selegie beancurd
it was fantastically smooth

met up with the rest later...
gene was talking about fishing with his friends at paula ubin
then he was like trying to show how "big" the fish was
like the size of my palm...maybe smaller...haha

the funny thing was that he did not see any wild boars there
i mean i went there and saw three wild boars in one day
and the whole island is strewn with half eaten coconuts and dung...

and poor hans...didn't get to eat dinner

we went to fairprice...bought some snacks for the new year
two bottles of sparkling juice, bread, chocolates, juice, water...

went to habour front first...
saw a huge crowd...thought of going labrador pk
hans, germ and gene decided not to see the fireworks and left early
what a waste...

later sueann came...
then we deicided to go to marina bay
also hell alot of ppl
walked along the bridge
sat on the highway with the others
and waited ...the street lights went off before midnight

and there it was........

fireworks

it was truly amazing
what a spectacular sight it was
i was awed by the beauty of it...
didn't take photos of the finale
jus wanted to watch till the end

it was worth the wait

looking forward for next years event...
